JEFF HEALEY [1966 to 2008] Jeff Healey...was known to this world in many ways. As a JAZZ Radio host on the CBC. As a Jazz music genius himself. He could play a mean JAZZ Trumpet. As a blues : rock music genius. A singer , song writer and as an actor in the movie called...ROAD HOUSE. As an excellent live performer. He was known as an all around nice guy and great family man.He was also known as the BLIND Canadian guitar wizard who played the guitar in his lap like know one else did. His first CD called...SEE THE LIGHT...with it's hit called...ANGEL EYES...sold 5 million copies world wide.Many other great studio / live albums / live DVDs of blues / rock and pure jazz , followed.He even performed 1 song live with...SASS JORDAN...on the...TORONTO ROCKS [Sars Stock] Live DVDs [the 2 disc Canadian Edition].JEFF...owned his own "ROADHOUSE" in , Toronto , Canada , that still bares his name.Many Tuesday nights you could find him in his own club , jamming with people from audience who had brought their own instruments. Try doing that with , JIMMY PAGE? I met him once there and he gave me an autograph. YES , he could do that too.Sadly the album...MESS OF BLUES...is his last album ever. HOWEVER , it is his best sounding cover song album ever.His last album is part live and part studio recordings , with what...JEFF...calls , " THE BEST BAR BAND IN CANADA..."His crack 6 member band has some fantastic keyboard playing and the rest of the band is , " TIGHT LIKE THAT "It sounds like your a in a REAL BAR when listening to this album.The first 2 opening songs were recorded live in , LONDON , and the sound recording is so clear and clean that it feels like you are there. 1. I'M TORN DOWN , [live in , London] ,2. HOW BLUE CAN YOU GET , [wow , what a blues guitar solo live].Next are the studio recorded songs that don't lose their live feeling because it sounds like they recorded live to tape in the studio.3. SUGAR SWEET 4. JAMBALAYA , [vocals sung by , ALEC FRASER] , 5. THE WEIGHT , [sung by his group] ,6. MESS O' BLUES7.
