A work of art with the sound it deserves (2008-07-04)  First of all, the series itself is beautifully mastered in the animation, dub, and music. Composer Yoko Kanno is an absolute genius! Remix's 5.1 sound is absolutely wonderful, and this is a total bargain for a series of this quality. The english dub is absolutely superb. For once I recommend it over watching in the japanese, since the subtitles give the language a stilted feel, and the dub keeps that edgy tone going.The characters are outstanding, and Bebop gives the viewer enough credit to use their own brains to draw conclusions, instead of narrating everything out. Without a doubt this is one of the most poignant stories in anime.This is not a series for kids - it was made for adults, and the first episode is so adult that it was not even aired on television in Japan. So keep that in mind!
Quality and Cost are Outstanding (2008-02-11) One of the best shows ever for the lowest price possible? Fantastic. Cowboy Bebop is a gem that anyone can fall in love with. It's adorable cast of characters and great stand-alone stories only help crescendo to the epic finale. A must own.
Awesome (2008-02-09) When I was in the US I bought each of the original DVDs (before the remix version came out) for 25.99 each. When I saw the entire collection available for this price, I jumped at it. If you enjoy this sort of anime, it's well worth the price. I was hooked after watching the first two episodes on Adult Swim, and I've loved the show ever since.
