End of Silence Rocks! (2008-04-09)

I picked this up at a local Christian bookstore recently. I had never heard of RED before, but I was looking for something to play loud in my car and it looked like it might do the trick. My first thought was, "Why haven't I heard of these guys before?" Their sound is somewhere between Evanescence and Linkin Park. There is some great guitar work and the lead singer, while not outstanding, does a great job shouting the lyrics at the appropriate time and conveying the powerful emotion behind the song. Particularly worth the listen is "Breath", "Let Go", "Already Over", and "Break Me Down." Definitely worth it and a great cd for playing loud this summer with the windows down!
