A lot of fun...quickly! (2008-01-02)

This shooter is a blast! It is easy to jump right in and start having fun either with the games's AI opponents or online. It features an interesting single player campaign mode as well. Difficulty settings can be set from novice all the way up 6 or 7 different settings to godlike.If you like shooters get this game. It's full adrenaline, fast paced hilarious fun!

first edition re-release (2008-01-01)

I have had this game in its various incarnations, since it was first released in the late 90's. All have had something new to make the game enthralling and exciting. Alas. this tradition is lost and the game has lost a lot of its magic in this incarnation.Reading other reviewers, I simply could not believe what they were saying and decided to test it myself. Alas they were correct. Designed to be CPU intensive, memory intensive and graphics card intensive ... previous releases outstrip this game by miles and I'm sure this explains why its still sitting on the shelves in the stores.Another avid fan bites the dust and in search of something new. Any suggestions?
