Amazing voice! (2008-09-01) When I saw Paul Potts perform on You Tube I was totally in awe. His voice literally gave me goose bumps and made me feel tearful with awe over the wonderful voice this man has. I could hardly believe what I was hearing. I've since bought his album and am thrilled to have it.
Paul Potts: from phone salesman to superstar (2008-06-25) I have observed Paul's appearances on Britain's Got Talent competition and, like the three judges, I have been left speechless after listening to Paul's renditions of nessum dorma and con te partiro. It is amazing how the simple push of a green button by a lady off stage, in Paul's first BGT appearance, did signal a change in his life forever. As Amanda said, the lump of coal has turned into a diamond. Paul's first CD is excellent and, as a lover of good music, it rates as one of the best among my many CDs. I say "well done Paul and keep up the good work!" I strongly recommend this CD to whoever loves good music.
Impossible (2008-01-30) If you have never heard of Paul Potts you will. An unassuming and unknown opera singer who made it big on a talent show in the U.K. His voice is flawless and the songs that he has recorded on this album are probably known to most. However it is still worth the time and money to invest in this CD. I am not the world's biggest opera fan and have never bought an opera CD until this came out. No regrets whatsoever. It is great.
Amazing (2007-12-10) For most of my life I have been a die hard rock fan and was never really into opera. That started to change about two years ago when I heard an Andrea Bocelli album. I first saw Paul on CBC's The Hour. Then after watching him on youtube he had me sold. The world lost a legend in Luciano Pavarotti but has a potential heir apparent in Paul Potts. Amazing story, amazing man and amazing album. Here's hoping for many more to come.
Wow, Can't Believe It (2007-11-18) Just saw Paul's tryout video on You Tube, and was blown away. You could tell the judges didn't see it coming (rilling of the eyes) and when he started to sing, the expression on their faces was priceless. I thought they where playing a recording of Andrea Boccelli, but to see a regular guy singing like that with such emotion was really moving. Way to go Paul, I am buying this for sure!
