Best Warfare Simulator To Date (2008-02-27)

Not having previously played the Call Of Duty series, I had much anticipated for this game after having the rave reviews for its WWII predecessors. Being an active casual gamer and former US Special Operator, this game grabbed me by the neck and pulled me in. The graphics and realism of not only the weapons but the tactics, the sounds and the overall feel and environment brought me right home. I highly recommend this game for anyone who wants to be an armchair operator, Marine or ARSOC. Cons: Lack of further modifications to weapons. Consoles need more maps for download to keep up, which is being addressed. Overall: this is a close perfect. 9.6/10 Worth the purchase.

Lots of action, great story (2008-01-06)

I just finished this game. Granted it only took about 5 or 6 hours total but that was on the easiest setting. It starts with a nice but not too long training session to get you up to speed and then in you go. Lots of action. Intuitive controls. It helps you along just enough but not too much. It does not leave you frustrated like you just don't have a clue what it want s from you. There is variety in that you are sometimes shooting from air craft but sometimes on stealthy sniper missions but mostly front line combat. The story is exciting with a great ending. Loved it!
