Way, Way Over-priced (2007-09-21)
Amazon.ca and Chapters are claiming that this item has a list price of nearly $90.00. The US$ list is $58.90. Amazon then claims a 20% 'savings' to the posted price of $72. Chapters sells at $62, BTW. I bought it instead from Amazon.com for US$39.90 plus shipping or a $27.00 savings off the total Amazon.ca cost (assuming free shipping in Canada). GST is not included in the costs. The Canadian dollar is at parity. So will someone PLEASE explain to me how a Candian subsidiary can charge more than 33% more than its parent company. It may take a few more days for the item to get here but the savings are in my pocket. Oh, how many of my fellow Canadians like to pay high prices!!

I've pre-ordered from amzon.com for $38.99us + $3.50sh. It's still cheaper when converet to canadian since the U.S. dollar is now almost on equal par with ours. Come on amazon.ca lower your prices for tv box sets or I will continue to order from the states!
