Addicting (2008-04-28)

I own all 3 seasons of this show, I'm addicted to it. Everytime I finish an episode I can't wait to watch the next one. Some of the episodes will leave you sitting on the edge of your seat(ie. as in season 1 when some of the boats are looking for survivors of the BIG VALLEY) or laughing till your gut aches(ie. season 2 when the CORNEILA MARIE fills up one of the NORTHWESTERN's crab pots with all their garbage and puts a pipe on the rope of the crab pot). I can't wait until season 4.

starts off slow,becomes interesting (2007-08-20)

starting off,i was not impressed with this reality series.the firstepisode starts off slower than molasses uphill in January.eventually itpicks up.the second episode is much better,as we get into the actionmuch quicker.the show is interesting,showing what the crab fishermen gothrough and how grueling it is.it also shows how dangerous itis.apparently there is an almost 100 percent injury rate and a verystrong risk of death or permanent injury.it is obviously verydangerous.however,some of these crab fishermen could make enough moneyin weeks or less to live for an entire year.in any event the show isamusing, entertaining and sad all at once.i would give "DeadliestCatch:Crab Fishing in Alaska" 3/5
