Kickin' it thin (2008-01-05)

I've been using this video for a couple of years now (and actually I'm about to go do it in a couple of minutes) and my new confidence that I got from this is wonderful! It is a fun video, the people are great and theres a clock at the bottom so you can keep track. It is mostly kick boxing and it takes a couple of times to fully know all the moves. But stick with it and you'll love like me. Plus I recommend getting the other DVD because it has a scultping exercise which I uses and a learn and burn so you know all the moves for this DVD.

Fun and fat-burning workouts (2007-08-27)

I really love the Turbo Jam workout videos. They are fun to do, they are adaptable for any fitness level, and the people that are in the videos with Chalene Johnson are REAL people, in different shapes and sizes. The moves are mostly from kick-boxing, so it involves a lot of punching and some kicking, with some dancey moves thrown in. I really enjoyed the feeling of strength and power from the movements, rather than just dancing around my living room for half an hour. Turbo Sculpt has really reshaped and defined the muscles in my arms and legs, much more so than any weight training I did on my own. Chalene herself is motivational without being irritating, and her energy is inspiring. I ordered Volume 1 and 2 to begin with, and enjoyed them so much that I bought about 6 more of her DVDs. I've been able to stick with Turbo Jam longer than any other workouts I've tried, simply because I enjoy it and don't dread my workouts anymore.
