You gotta have more than one Wiimote to experience family fun (2008-08-28) I was hesitant to spend the extra money to get a second Wiimote, but trying out these games on a friend's system sealed the deal for me! These games really let you get into the Wii system and have some real family fun! We have since bought many expensive name brand games for the system, but we keep coming back to the great games on this disk and have a great time playing head to head! This system is so much fun that we now have four Wiimotes! The original, the one that comes with Wii Play, a third for my child, and a forth for when family and friends visit! This is good family entertainment that gets everyone involved. No more wasting time sitting on the couch! The family can get up and move around and have fun together!
forget about fun. (2008-06-27) I got one today after reading some comments saying how good a deal bying a package including wii remote and wii game. Nintendo Wii Play with Wii Remote costs $59.99. Nintendo Wii Remote costs $44.99. so you can get wii game by paying $15. let me tell you something after discovering wii play which contents 9 games in it. all 9 games suck! it`s not even worthy for $15 at all.all the game are so retarded.I should have bought only will remote. you cold have a nice meal by spending $15. gosh.
Well Worth The Investment!! (2008-01-23) Let me just repeat what one reviewer wrote : You are basically getting the game for free!!At *al-Mart in Canada, you can buy a Wii-mote (no game) and Nunchuck for about $75.00! The total for the Wii-mote, nunchuck and this game from Amazon.ca was $80.00 with free shipping to boot! Even if you are considering buying another remote and nunchuck, just buy this game with the nunchuck! Wii Play sells for $59.99 in our *al-Mart!The games are a lot of fun for new people to the Wii, and for when company comes over. The shooting one - 5 Stars (so much fun!!)The find mii - 4 Stars (weird)The ping pong - 4 Stars (relaxing)The pose mii - 5 Stars (sure makes me sweat)The neon hockey - 4 Stars (not my thing but my husband loves it)The fishing - 4 Stars ( a little tricky to work)The canons - 5 Stars (very tricky, for me at least)The pool game - 5 Stars (I found it fun)The cow racing - 5 Stars!! IT IS WORTH IT JUST FOR THAT!!I want to tell everyone that I own Wii Sports (duh), Mario VS. Sonic Olympic games, and Mario Party 8, and I will seriously recommend this game telling friends and family that it is just as fun as the above games if not more. It has a refreshing speed of play and I just like that I am not killing my arms or shoulders trying to "Lock speed" on Mario VS. Sonic or cursing because it seems that COM player on Mario Party 8 always lucks out!You can't go wrong getting a free game.
a good game for new or younger players and a good deal (2007-08-12) the game play is really only entertaining for about an hour but this may be more fun for people new to the wiimote's (wii remote's) controls may also appeal to younger children (under 10) but the fact that it comes with an extra controller makes it a good deal.
THIS should be the next item you purchase after buying the Wii system (2007-06-12) For a moment, forget about all the reviews about the Wii Play game itself on ign, gamespot, 1up, et al., and forget about the review above...As of time of writing, this game + Wii Remote package costs $59.99. If you purchase an extra Wii Remote, it costs $49.99. So, simple math tells you that the game costs only $10.00. ONLY $10!?? "Wait a minute. Don't all other Wii games cost between $50 to $60??? OMG! What a sweet deal!" And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the only convincing that you should need if you had any doubts about this purchase.Nintendo realized that, when they were pricing the system, that $250.00(USD) was the magic number to hit. They could have sold the system with WiiSports, and 4 controllers and charge $375.00(USD) for it, but they understood that this would ward away the economically-minded moms & dads. So, at a loss for Nintendo (it obviously cost Nintendo more than $10/game to develop WiiPlay), they decided to sell the Wii Remote and a simple minigame collection together, so that those moms & dads out there would buy a second remote for little sister Jane, so that she can play with his big brother Johnny. Now, what can you expect for your purchase of a second remote? Obviously, now you can play WiiSports: Tennis/Baseball/Boxing against another live person, and in the future, you can purchase future games that may require 2 remotes. What can you expect for the GAME-portion of your purchase? You wouldn't expect much for just paying $10.00 for a game, would you? Well, I am here to tell you that the minigames are worth MUCH more than what you paid for. The fun-factor of most of the games is good. I enjoy playing almost all of the games (except for the cow-racing game). And my kids and I regularly go back to WiiPlay, in rotation with our WiiSports, Rayman Raving Rabbids, and Gamecube games. Bottomline: BUY THIS NEXT if you have just purchased your system (Oh, and an extra Nunchuk too).
