Why buy at amazon? (2008-08-05)

I bought this item today in a store for 199.99$. It's ridiculous to pay 100$ more for something online when u can just walk into a store and buy it there. The system itself is very nice,not a whole lot different from the older psp, just some of the buttons are moved around.

it you are the newbie to gaming like me, you will love this package, it comes with every basic thing u need, battery, console, game and video, and charging cable, and 1 GB sony memory card. it is a good package!!! i bought the package, played the games and sold it to local game shops for extra bucks. the silver psp is awesome, i don't find it easy to leave any finger prints, shiny with a plastic metal look. It looks great, and way cheaper than you buy the console alone, because you got everything you need in one package.the screen is bright, the scene, video is GREAT as if you play the game on IMAX screen. daxter is cool RPG game for any beginner too. I like RPG games, and DAXTER offers what i want, role play, cool graphic, adventures like stages, finding the treasure/ gems while fighting enemies ( bugs). the memory card works great and it did last about 5 hours or so after i game, go online, see some photos. a worthwhile entertainment

A great console, although with some dowwnsides (2007-11-27)

The psp is a great system. It has many different features and many great games. But for a first try, sony didn't exactly do the best job in the world. Lots of the games can be very frustrating, and some can get to be just plain boring.(some are still quite fun)The graphics on the system are great, and having able to view movies, look at pictures, browse the internet and listen to music are a nice upside compared to the nintendo ds. There are also many great small touches, like the waves in the background, and the little musical signiture it makes when you enter a game.There is almost no reason to have the mp3 player though, cause a vast majority of people have them anyway.This is so fragile! i've heard of people that had dropped it and it had almost cracked in half! make sure to get a good case and keep it in it as much as possible. Compared to dropping a ds,well, there is almost no competition. But if you drop it from a pretty low distance, it fares out ok. So, if you are the ultimate gamer who loves war games, intense racing games, and wouldn't mind all the extra features, i'd say go with the psp. If you like really "to the point" games, and love classics such as super mario or mario kart, and want something that is just plain fun, then go for the ds.I have both the nintendo ds and the psp, and i have gotten pretty worked out with the psp. Also, I think the ds lite is a bit "liter" then the psp. Enjoy!!

Fix your price amazon!!! (2007-10-06)

The estimated shipping date is Nov 1-30?? this core pack has been out in the U.S. for weeks now so what is the hold up?? The retail is $169 usd and $200 cad. We are all familiar with the exchange rates so stop ripping off your canadian customers and get this item in stock since it is out everywhere else!!!

I like the ceramic white color y the Star Wars Battlefront Renegade Squadron game... I don't like the fact that this (white) Entertainment Pack does not have a 1 Gb. memory stick like the Dexter Entertainment Pack (silver)... and they will cost the same...And like my friend: D. Brzozowski said, it is more expensive here (Canada) than buying in USA, even if they change the same...jcbahome@yahoo.com
