YEAH!!! (2006-04-21) This album Rocks!! If you never heard about RevCo you'd better check before you buy it assuming that it probably sounds like Ministry. A thousand miles away...Like buying an album of Maldoror or Fantomas because you think Faith No More was great (and you would be right of course!!!).Difficult to describe how it sounds. Let's say that this is rock (nothing mainstream however, hum...this is not BonJovi guys!!!) with a punk approach. A blend of electronic loops combined with hypnotic repetitive riffing and singing close to spelling (so weird, so good!). This definition really sucks!! Sorry for that, believe me I do my best (I know...my best may not be enough!). Pretty difficult to describe RevCo. But one thing is sure, this is fresh, unconventional, pretty dirty (the good way!) but not likely to be appreciated by everyone. You may not click at first, you may even never click but you should at least try. It's worth giving them a try, definitely!!
Wow....This is bad...probably one of the worst albums (2006-03-17) Wow I am a huge Ministry fan and I own the previous releases of the revolting cocks but this album is GARBAGE....Save your money and buy the new Ministry I have heard it already and it is their best yet.
Cocked & Loaded (2006-03-16) If you are a fan of punk rock, Texas-style, then this little ditty will leave you 'loaded'. For the first time in 13 years, Al Jourgensen resurrects the Revolting Cocks, his favourite side-project when he's not ranting and raging about the Bush gov't. Some of punk's legendary performers appear on this 11-song disc including Gibby Haynes (Butthole Surfers), Jello Biafra (Dead Kennedy's) and Phildo Owen (Skatenigs). The song titles say it all. In this day of homogenized crap that the labels lay on us, it's refreshing when the masters assemble to show the kids how it's done. And none of them have their pants hanging off their asses.
