Worth seeing... if you ignore Mira Sorvino's accent (2006-03-21)  A Victorian look into the lives of the wealthy and aristocratic from New England to Old. Right up there with North & South and Wives & Daughters as some of the best BBC productions in recent years. Carla Gugino and Greg Wise are amazing as is the English countryside used for locations. You won't be able to turn this one off. Too bad Wharton never finished the novel as the ending leaves you longing for more.
Wonderful....if you ignore Mira Sorvino's accent (2006-03-21) This is right up there with North & South and Wives & Daughters as one of the best BBC productions in recent years (although this one goes back a while). Carla Gugino and Greg Wise are amazing, as are the English scenery and locations. Mira Sorvino is over the top but kind of fun anyway as a South American Heiress. Too bad the novel was unfinished as the miniseries sort of leaves you wishing for more...

Where is it??? (2004-01-24) Where is the DVD of the excellent and marvelous mini series!!! WHERE WHERE WHERE is it??? So much junk is out on DVD and this amazing show isn't yet what is going on BBC get it in gear!!!!
