A masterpiece!!!! (2007-06-08)

This game has been intresting me from A to Z. Lots of times i couldn't stop playing since the enigma is so ... complicated and... entertaining! Basicly, you're a lawyer. you have to find tips to be able to prove your client not guilty.Graphics : 4 out of 5. they're great, but nothing out of the extraordinary. furthermore, you cannot see the characters move, they just appear and disapear. there are some animations when they talk, which is good too.Entertainment : 5 out of 5. Sincerely, i always stayed up late to discover the next mistery in the case!! I just finished the game tonight... almost crying for more :PSound : 4.7 out of 5. not top gun, but still, you get attached to the songs which are quite fun to hear.Overall : 5 out of 5. A must for DS, must be the best one out there (along with other Phoenix Wright games). You will like investigating and shouting in the microphone of your DS : OBJECTION!!

Great Overall Game: One of the Best for the DS (2007-04-11)

Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney is one of my favourite games for the Ds right now. With its interesting cases with unexpected turning points and witty dialogue, you can't put it down. On the other hand, this game is relatively hard, especialy at the end and even walkthroughs dont help. Overall excellent game.

Pleasantly surprised! (2006-04-17)

I originally dismissed this game since, well, it`s a game about being a lawyer! How boring could that be? Boy was I ever wrong. I picked this up because so many people seeemed to like it, so I figured I would give it a try. From the first 5 minutes, it hooks you in and you stay hooked all the way. This is not a game for those with trigger happy fingers and those who expect action. There is none. The game consists of mostly reading and searching for clues on the scenes of the crime. It most closely resembles a story-driven adventure game, with no way to die (although you can lose your case if you don't do a good job in court). If you enjoy a good story with lots of twists and turns, check this game out. If you enjoy animé, I also reccomend you check it out since some of the cases seem to come right out of a typical animé episode. Overall, this is my favourite game in my DS library and I definately reccomend it.

Amazing story. Wonderful visuals. But ZERO replayability! (2006-01-21)

When I first purchased this game, I was skeptical. I mean.. I game about a lawyer?!? But when I first turned it on, and went through the short "training/tutorial" case, I was hooked. The game interface just works really well. Most of the game is spent in court, pleading your case and cross-examining witnesses. But you also get to do investigation work, CSI style! This game is very long, with my first time playing taking over 20 hours! And when you think it's all over, think again. I won't say anymore about the story in case I spoil anything! The only bad thing about this game is the replayability factor. There is NONE! But playing through the story once is worth the money! Thought the adventure category of games was dead? Pick up this game and prove yourself wrong. Even if you don't like lawyers or the thought of being a lawyer, the story in this game will keep you yelling "OBJECTION!" for hours at a time.

Amazing! (2005-12-27)

This game is simply brilliant. It's a hard to find game but wow, the story is top notch. The localization team did a great job in translating this for north america. The gameplay is simplistic since it's a point and click adventure style type game but the game is very text heavy and has a gripping storyline to keep you involved. It's very humourous at times as well.

The graphic's are well done for this type of genre and the music and sound effects are beautiful. The music gets dramatic and exciting at all the climatic moments and it makes the game far more enjoyable.

When I first received it I couldn't put it down, the game's story is very enjoyable and anyone whom loves adventure games should pick this up. Hell even people who don't.

Kudos to capcom on this game, I'd recommend this for anyone whom wants a fun, enjoyable, interactive story. There is a lot of reading involved and it's probably the best game, most unique game, I've played in the last 3 years. Let's hope more are released for it in the near future.
