For far too long, the bullies of Bullworth Academy have been stealing lunch money and making life miserable for students. For far too long, you've taken a back seat as nerds were taunted and put on display. And for far too long nobody has put the bullies in their place. Finally, the time for sweet revenge is here! The Rockstar tradition of groundbreaking, original gameplay and humorous tongue-in-cheek storytelling invades an entirely new setting: the schoolyard. As a mischievous schoolboy, you'll stand up to bullies, get picked on by teachers, play pranks, win or lose the girl, and ultimately learn to navigate the obstacles of the worst school around, Bullworth Academy - a corrupt and crumbling prep school with an uptight facade.

Life at the academy
The story follows Jimmy Hopkins, a teenager who's been expelled from every school he's ever attended. Left to fend for himself after his mother abandons him at Bullworth to go on her fifth honeymoon, Jimmy has a whole year at Bullworth ahead of him, working his way up the social ladder of this demented institution of supposed learning, standing up for what he thinks is right and taking on the liars, cheats and snobs who are the most popular members of the student body and faculty. If Jimmy can survive the school year and outsmart his rivals, he could rule the school.
Using the "living sandbox" game style similar to Rockstar's previous titles, players complete goals and experiment with items in the game world. A rival may dare you to drop a firecracker into a toilet or scare some sense into the kid who took your lunch money. Don't spend too much time roaming the halls, however, as you may actually be punished for skipping out on important classes. Choices you make outside of school will also impact how friends and foes in the school view you after you buy new clothes and sport a new haircut.
Mini games abound
Bullworth Academy pride themselves in rigidly sticking to the curriculum at all times, to this end consistent truancy will result in punishment. The esteemed staff of the Academy, though occasionally questionable in their recreational habits, ensure that the pupils have a firm grounding in the key academic subjects. Alongside the strict principals of loyalty, trust and ruthless ambition that are ingrained in every pupil in the academy by the principal Dr Crabblesnitch, core subjects include English, Gym, Shop Class, Photography, Art and Chemistry. Each subject comprises a series of five tests to be passed with flying colors. Of course on passing each test a due reward, in the form of gameplay features will be earned by the player. Bullworth Academy's educational system is provided through a host of exciting and innovative mini games lovingly developed by Rockstar Vancouver to accompany the main storyline of Bully.
Do a double clique
Just like any other crumbling prep school, Bullworth Academy has its cliques. You'll have to choose whether to side with football jocks, well-dressed preppies, or try to turn them against each other while you laugh at the antics with your fellow greasers. Clique membership becomes even more exciting as your clique rises to the head of the class- making a name for themselves and striking fear into the hearts of those who might cross you. Don't be surprised if some cliques offer up some surprises, as those bug-eyed nerds just may have the scientific know how to create weaponry that can keep those bullies at bay.
Ready yourself for a hilarious return to campus living with Bully, the outrageously funny debut title from Rockstar Vancouver, available exclusively for PlayStation2 computer entertainment system.

Best adventure game ever, hands down (2008-08-19) This game is full of surprises! After the first chapter of the game, you have free range not only of the Bullworth Campus but also of the town of Bullworth. You can buy new clothes and bikes, among other things, like getting your hair styled differently. You can vandalize numerous things (including moving vehicles, haha) and assault pretty much anyone, or, alternatively, be nice to them and start conversations. You can even swim in this river and to this island to fight a pirate. Jimmy is bisexual and can kiss both girls, and a select few boys (after presenting them with flowers). You can break into the school at night, or the girl's dorm, etc. And those are just the things you can do on your free time! There are countless tasks for you to perform, from hiding your alcoholic English teacher's booze so he doesn't get fired to pulling pranks on people on Hallowe'en. There are also classes you will be forced to attend if you can't outrun the truancy officers. The length and latitude of this game are very, very impressive! I highly recommend it.
great and fun game (2007-02-14) When bully first came out never crossed my mind, to buy it didn't really care. But later on I figured give the game a shot why not right? I am glad I did cause this game is awesome, your jimmy hopkins going to bullworth academy. When you get there people are picking on you bully's everywhere, even picking on the nerds and so on.The game is a lot of fun, you get to play minigames in the classroom where you can unlock things that help you later in the game. The basic plot of it all is help out people that would be greasers, jocks, nerds, and preppies and a few other people. You get to use slingshot, potatoe gun, bottle rockets, itching powder, firecrackers and few more things to pick up as you do the story in bully. The missions in the game are all fun to do, there is not a mission I didn't like in the game. there is a lot to do in the game as well, as to use slingshot on people, throw firecrackers at them just fun stuff its great! So do yourself a favor and pick this one up you won't be disappointed!
This game is awesome! (2006-11-19) I don't play a lot of console games. A lot of them bore me quite quickly. My boyfriend bought this game, and I started playing it because it looked kind of fun. I ended up beating it before he did!The game is a lot of fun, there are a ton of things to do, and it's a really great story. Different people can get different things out of it. One friend of mine was perfectly happy to just go around picking fights with bullies, where I had plenty of fun avoiding fights, and letting the prefects bust anyone who wanted to fight me. (YES! They WILL bust other people! You just need to be not getting into trouble to see it...)In this game, even going to class is fun.
Bully fun. (2006-11-04) I rented this game not knowing what to expect. I heard alot of bad things from press and the news because of the explicit content, which made me want to rent it. After merely playing the game for 15 minutes I knew it was going to be a winner. I played the game for 6 hours straight and then saved. The save state told me I was merely 28% done the game. Awesome, its a long game too. I am now 68% done the game and it keeps getting better. I can't wait to not only unlock more things in the game but to see where the interesting storyline will take me. Enjoy.
