Internet Security SUCKS! (2005-03-27)

After many tries I finally got it installed, and it slowed my computer down to a snails pace. I kept getting error messages, I finally decided to re-install it and I couldn't get it to install again, I kept getting error messages, I went to the web site and that's just a waste of time. Stay away!

Worst Software of the Decade (2005-03-14)

I just purchased Norton Internet Security 2005 and received it last week. I had an old version of Internet Security 2001 that I was very happy with and figured that I would upgrade. After wasting 4 days trying to install it I am giving up. I keep getting an error message that the installation has failed. I went to the Symantec website and followed the online documentation for failed installations; it didn't work. I then emailed technical support twice and got information saying that it was due to the improper install of the old product. They gave me a long list of instructions which also involved deleting registry settings. After spending hours doing what they said, it still will not install. I have emailed them again, but they have simply stopped responding to my emails. Horrible service, horrible product. Don't buy it. Also, I am not alone; do a web search on this product and you will find many people with the same problem. I can't find a good review out there. Wish I had reviewed it before I purchased.
