A must have product (2006-02-18)

I've been using Beyond TV for the last several months and have extremely happy with. The new version, v4, fixes a couple of issues that I had, but they weren't show stoppers.

With the proper codec installed, I have successfully played all my video files without problem. Since I have a dual tuner card, I have been able to record two channels at once while playing a DivX video with issues at all.

The V4 product provides some great features, like auto convert to DivX format in a variety of configurations that support mobile devices and high-quality playback.

The on-screen TV guide is great and has full support for the Canadian broadcasters. The web version (used for remote scheduling) provides an easy to use interface with full search capability.

Overall, this is an amazing product that I will continue to use for many years to come. My next step is to add the Beyond Media product for playing music files and DVD through the same type of interface.
