The Ultimate Party Album. (2004-06-26) Deborah Cox is currently burning up Broadway the way she has dance floors for years. This album, "Remixed", is excellent. It showcases some of her best remixes from "Things Just Ain't The Same", to the astounding classic "Nobody's Supposed To Be Here". My favorite cut on this album is "Starting With YOu". Give it a listen, you'll be a fan for life. If your having a party, slip this disc in and youve got instant grooves. Enjoy!
Absolutely diva amazing. (2004-06-18) This is one of my favorite cds. It is dance, it is trance, it is pop. My favorite songs are Absolutely Not, Something Happened on the Way to Heaven, and Play Your Part. Some of the tracks toward the end tend to be too R&B, but this album is well worth the great catchy, driving pop/dance songs. This cd is amazing for riding in the car with your windows down.
It was a great choice! (2004-05-25) Having known most of the remixes that appear on the album, I was sure I will like it. My expectations were however not even half as good as my impressions after listening to it were. I just cannot stop playing it - I like all the songs equally (maybe #7 is my favourite ;-) Thanks to good mixing, songs really do connect not just crash onto each other. But obviously the greatest asset of the album are energetic vocals of Deborah making the album PERFECT to be listened to and danced to ;-) I fully recommend it to all fans of good club music.
Talk about your TIGHT sets!!! (2004-05-08) This compilation of fourteen Deborah Cox remixes is a seamless blend, perfect for the club as well as the gym. Cox's earth-shattering vocals are never overshadowed by the throbbing beats, making this a cohesive marriage of singing and background. While each cut, remixed by such luminaries as David Morales, Junior Vasquez, and Donny Sullivan, holds its own, the piece de resistance is Hex Hector's (responsible for six tracks) "It's Over Now," a scorcher that heavily samples Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes' "Bad Luck" from the '70's.
The Best Remix CD Ever (2004-02-14) I don't even have this CD yet but know half the songs on it already. The best dance artist of the last ten years (Sorry, Madonna, you're my girl too).
