Best "Best Of" Healey Currently Available (2004-06-11)

This "best of" collection far surpasses the previously issued MASTER HITS collection, & is identical to the VERY BEST OF collection (also an import), but for a lower price. This collection dispenses with the poppy ballad-oriented material, wisely sticking with the blues-rock material Healey does best, while also including several great classic rock covers. Healey rips through track after track with incredible rock energy, while never compromising the blues feel. He pays tribute to influences such as Clapton, Hendrix, the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, & Fogerty. The only minor quibble I have is the omission of "I Think I Love You Too Much". I would have included this instead of Hendrix's "Angel", which interrupts the flow of an otherwise smoking set. This is blues-rock at it's best!
