Amazon.ca Product Description
Final Fantasy X is the first title in this landmark RPG series to be released for the PlayStation2. The main characters are Tidus, a star of blitzball (a hugely popular sport in the Final Fantasy universe), and Yuna, who has learned the art of summoning and controlling aeons, powerful spirits of yore. These two people of different backgrounds must work together as they journey through the world of Spira. This installment of Final Fantasy has a distinctly Asian influence, bringing a fresh feel to the characters, music, settings, and story.
Features include voice-overs for the first time in the series (utilizing the Facial Motion System), high-polygon, motion-captured player characters designed by Tetsuya Nomura, and a camera that automatically adjusts its perspective to correspond with the movements of the characters--a feature now possible because the game is largely polygonal.

Final Fantasy X Gets A 10/10! (2007-06-01) Final Fantasy X is different out of all the old ones any way this is a great game with a very good story line beautiful graphics and great gameplay i will not say the story int this review cos i don't want to mess it all up for you must buy 10/10
Amazing (2006-08-02) I could go on for an hour, but that would waste both our time. Everything is perfect; the music, the characters, the style and graphics. If you haven't already, get it. The only way I could see someone not enjoying this game is if they purposely tried not to. And there is always people with bad taste, of course.
More fantastic fun from Squaresoft. (2006-06-21) This first Final Fantasy game for the P2 lives up to its predecessors and then passes them. The story centres around Tidus, a star blitzball player, who is transported a thousand years into the future. The simple story of the game is that he has to discover why he has been sent through time and also to discover if there is a way back for him.As with all of the FF games, he travels through different lands, gaining strength and skills and eventually joining up with the various people who will help him on his quest. As with the others in the series, each of these characters have different skills and abilities. Some are stronger with swords or staffs, others are better with magic. As well as travelling the different lands of the world Tidus and Co have to solve various side quests, some easier than others. While some of these side quests are necessary to progress through the game, others are optional. Chocobos make their usual appearance but are only a minor part of the game. The major, and most difficult side quest is learning to play a game called Blitzball...necessary for one of the major characters to gain his ultimate weapon. The graphics in this game are fantastic but the video clips can become tedious if you play the game more than once and some of them are too lengthy... I would rather play the game than watch it. Another tiny criticism is that the fights are still turn based but that aside, the rest of the game is so good that it doesn't really matter. All in all this is a worthwhile game to own and play and certainly up to the usual standard you would expect from Squaresoft.
Squaresoft is over for me (2005-06-07) Do not buy the us version because the dark aeon are missing and so is the new game plus. You should try to find an intersional or a japan version.
