This big rock candy mountain of an album justifies some if by no means all of the poses and pretentious statements made by Manchester's natural-born rock & roll deities. A dramatic attempt to rekindle the flames of the original British Invasion, Morning Glory rolls 30 years of Britpop tradition into one irresistible (if achingly self-conscious) whole. "Wonderwall" can be read as a Beatles tribute, "Don't Look Back in Anger" feels like a Mott The Hoople anthem and "She's Electric" and "Morning Glory" are chewy pop confections. --Jeff Bateman

Oasis is a band lost in the desert!! The only story here is the album is horrible. (2007-10-23)  Definitely Maybe is not the best debut of all-time. Not a chance. The best debut album of all-time is Guns N' Roses Appetite for Destruction- but that's another story.(What's The Story) Morning Glory is one of the worst albums from the 90s as showcased with the lead singles, DON'T LOOK BACK IN ANGER AND WONDERWALL. Back in 1995, I was an Oasis fan- but this album is horrible. I gave this album three stars because I was feeling generous- but in reality, this album is horrible. OASIS needs to go back to the desert or whatever rock they came from.Noel Gallagher is over-rated and the group is over-rated.
REALLY REALLY GOOD (2005-06-11)  This CD makes me feel wonderful. If you're a new Oasis fan, this one is a necessity to own-buy it first. Personal favourite songs: She's Electric, Wonderwall, and Some Might Say. Great music for speeding on the highway with the windows rolled down and the wind in your hair. BUY IT.
Great follow up, (2005-02-05) This is a great follow up to what some say the best debut album of all time. Evrey song is good but some just blow me away! Favorites are: "Wonderwall""Cast no shadow""Some might say""Champain supernova" Wonderwall was the bigest hit and well known single as Noel rights about his former girlfriend , Liams voice is outstanding and a nice accustic guitar. Cast no shadow is about what we want to say and is what I think very simular to wonderwall. Some might say is incredibly catchey and reached number 1 on the UK charts. Champain supernova is long and boring at the begging but comes on nice. Oasis may have lost a step on there late'st albums "Standing on the sholders of Giants" and "Heathern Chemistry" but Noel apparently has written 66 new songs for there new album due in May but only plans put on the best tracks on one C.D. so you know its gonna be good. Well anyways dont wanna keep ya bored so buy this if love Rock and Roll and guitaring and rock on! If you liked Oasis cheack out The Beatles , Nirvana or other rock. Bye
Hopeless (2004-06-04)  It is hopeless to keep searching for a good song by Oasis. I have to announce that I'm tired of listening to the same bad-fake-beatlelike-sound. I do not recommend this cd to anyone. Looking for good rock of the 90's, listen to Pearl Jam, Alice, Pilots and Peppers. More soft stuff listen to REM and Hottie
One of the best albums ever. (2004-05-22) All you need to do is listen to this album and realise how great it is.Its sheer brilliance, it also shows that rock can have proper tune while making a loud noise also.While Oasis for a while lost it a bit with their two following albums, many songs off Heathen Chemistry (their 5th album) prove that they have still got what it takes, and without question Oasis WILL return to form and blow away all this rubbish music thats cluttering up the place.
