BEST EVER (2008-02-16)  I bought this book when I pregnant with my first child. I read it and re-read it over and over again. The information is great and the pictures are even better! The ultrasound pictures are great and gives you a clear idea what your own baby looks like inside of you at any given point in your pregnancy. I also found it handy after my daughter was born...then AGAIN when I got pregnant with my second child. This is the ONLY pregnancy book you will ever need!!!
No fear mongering here! (2008-01-02) I come from a medical family with a lot of healthy babies and active mothers. This is the first book that reflected the level-headed advice given to me by family members. It talks about the risks of certain activities and foods without making you feel like you've ruined your baby's chance of a healthy life by week 6 of your pregnancy. It is very informative, helpful, easy to read, and has sections for the dad-to-be as well. It distinguishes between things that have been proven to affect you during pregnancy versus things that may have an affect you during your pregnancy. It has managed to put into words some of my fears and concerns so concisely, I am constantly calling my husband over to read sections of the book.
Good reference book (2007-05-16) I was looking for a straight facts book, no cutesy stuff; for an all-in-one complete book to use as a reference from conception to early parenthood; for a book that would cover just about everything. The Pregnancy Bible is that book. It is thorough, complete, filled with facts, useful information and images and pictures. I looked at many other books before buying this one, and the Pregnancy Bible really is the best one I have found.
Everything you need to know!! (2005-11-09) I found this book to be a wealth of information. It answers every question I have had about being pregnant, and believe me there are a ton. People don't tell you exactly how it is. I really liked that this book also has a section on the growing baby, it is fun to know what is going on in there. I think this book is a good investment, it can be shared with friends and used for every pregnancy of your own. It also has a few chapters about after the birth, yourself and how to care for your little one. Highly recommended.
Only book you need (2004-02-12) I bought probably 10 books and this is the only one that I have read cover to cover. It is the greatest book ever and the only one you need!
