Maybe I'm just a geek (2001-12-09)  Okay, I have to admit, I am a person who likes to know why things are the way they are. So watching the history of various traditions of Christmas was a great experience for me. I think it's also a good learning tool for children. I mean, I don't want to go through the motions of putting up a Christmas tree because "that's the way it's always been done." It hasn't, and now I can tell my kids where all these traditions came from.
Good background of Christmas history (2000-12-27)  This presents a fairly good and quick background of Christmas history. It is not fully comprehensive, but does cover the basics of the origin of the holiday from both pagan and christain backgrounds. It also includes the secular icons and how they came to be celebrated today.
