Highly recommended (2007-03-10) I have three kids and this book is at the moment the favorite one in our house. Books like this one are a God-send. It is a series of flap pages with big bright easy-to-read text. After one reads the text, they can flip up the flap and reveal the part of the body being taught on the page. It is constructed of cardboard and heavy card stock. It asks a series of questions of "Where is baby's ..., and when you and your baby lift the flap there is the belly button, or nose or whatever. The baby in the pictures always looks so happy that your baby will laugh and laugh. The bright colorful illustrations serve to bring out the text and allow easy recognition of the body parts. I highly recommend this book for all mother's with small children. My recommendation for older kids (around 10) is "Why Some Cats are Rascals"
Keep book out of baby's reach (2004-07-09) My 16 mo old daughter has loved this book since she was 12 mo., but I have to keep it out of her reach . She loves to lift the flaps but has now been tearing the flaps off when she reads the book on her own. She is only allowed to read it in my lap where I can stop her from ripping the flap off.
Best book (2004-06-25) This was one of the first books given to our son. We loved the cute pictures and wording of the book. Our son is now 15 months old and still loves to find the different things on the baby. He especially likes Where are baby's hands....under the bubbles...maybe it is the way I change my voice when reading to him. This is a must have...along with all the other books by Karen Katz
Always makes baby laugh (2004-06-16) My one year old son loves this book it's like playing peek-a-boo with a new friend, This book gives are whole family deep belly laughs as we find Where is babys belly- button? The only thing that I would change is the flaps unfortunitly any strong willed young toddler could rip the flaps right off their hinges.
great (2004-06-15) My 8 month old daughter laughs everytime we read this book. I bring it with us when we go out - I know that it will make her happy!
